Ingredients

2 lbs ground turkey
2/3 cup Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal
1 cup almond milk (or hazelnut or hemp or any non-dairy milk) or regular milk
1 egg
1 large onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1 teaspoon ground fenugreek
1/2 teasspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 lb fontina cheese(optional)
1/3 cup your favorite BBQ sauce

    Preheat oven to 400 °F.
    Soak Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal in milk for about 1 hour. Strain and ground oatmeal with meat grinder or food processor.

    Peel and ground onion.
    Add lightly beaten egg and spices to the ground turkey along with ground oatmeal and onion. Mix thouroughly. Cut fontina cheese into 1/3 inch cubes.

    Form mixture into approximately 1 1/2 inch balls, inserting a cube of fontina cheese into each meatball. Arrange them at the baking sheet covered with silicone baking liner. Bake meatballs for about 12-13 minutes, take them out the oven, brush them with BBQ sauce and bake for another 5 min. Enjoy.
